Christine Torres received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Long Beach in 2004.

Her desire to problem-solve led her to Trinity Law School, where she attended from 2004 to 2007. During law school, Christine was a member of the Moot Court team and Law Review, and she interned with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

Christine was admitted to the California Bar in 2008 and began a solo practice, where a large percentage of her clients came to her for help with family law matters.

Family Law Experience Across Texas and California

Christine expanded her family law skills by 1,581 miles and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2022. She is a member of the Family Law Section and remains a member in good standing in both California and Texas.

Her dual-state background gives her a unique ability to assist Texas clients with family law matters that may involve California issues.

Christine is also a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and is passionate about helping clients navigate family law matters with clarity, steadiness, and practical guidance.

Teaching, Advocacy, and Service

Christine enjoys teaching and has served as an adjunct professor for Trinity Law School’s Master’s program since 2018.

Her teaching background reflects the same approach she brings to client service: helping people understand complex issues in a clear, practical, and empowering way.

Outside the Office

Christine and her husband, Greg, have been married for over 35 years. Together, they have four children and three grandchildren.

Christine and her husband reside in Conroe. She enjoys watching baseball, rooting for the Houston Astros, and still keeping loyalty to the Chicago Cubs.

She also enjoys baking bread and is especially known for her waffles, made on her great-grandmother’s cast iron waffle griddle.
