Hammad Syed

While attending the University of Houston, Hammad discovered a passion for advocacy and a desire to be a voice for those who feel unheard. That passion ultimately led to a career in law. In 2017, Hammad earned a Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Initially practicing immigration law, Hammad was naturally drawn to family law, where they felt called to support individuals and families navigating some of the most emotionally challenging times in their lives. In January 2021, Hammad joined De Ford Law Firm and currently serves as a Senior Associate Attorney.

Deeply committed to advocating for those who have been silenced or mistreated in their marriages, Hammad views family as a foundational value and understands the profound emotional and practical impact that divorce can have on all members of a family. His approach is compassionate and strategic, always working toward the best possible outcome for clients and their children.

The most rewarding aspect of Hammad’s work is empowering clients to reclaim their voice and begin making decisions that shape a better future. Witnessing a client take back control of their life is what drives his dedication to the practice.

Outside of work, Hammad enjoys spending time with his wife and their two cats. They love traveling, creating memorable experiences, and being surrounded by friends and family.
