Hammad Syed

While at the University of Houston, I wanted to pursue a career where I could advocate for those who do not have a voice. That led me down the path of becoming an attorney. I graduated with my Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, LA, in 2017. I felt the call to practice family law, which led me to De Ford Law Firm in January 2021, where I currently occupy the role of Senior Associate Attorney.

I originally worked in immigration law and found myself being drawn to help family’s. My desire is to be the voice for those who have been silenced in their marriages and treated poorly. Family is extremely important to me, and I understand the weight and impact a divorce can have on the family unit. I am here to help you reach the best possible outcome for you and your family.

Educating and empowering people through the legal process is the absolute best part of my job. The moment some finally gain control of their life and start making decisions for themselves is what gets me out of bed every morning. While this can be challenging, the reward of helping someone transform their life is well worth the long hours.

I spend my free time with my wife and our two cats. We love spending time with family and friends, traveling together, and having memorable experiences.
