Deonee High Easton

While at Michigan State University College of Law, I developed litigation skills and sharpened my passion for client advocacy while competing in the American Bar Association’s Arbitration Competition. I served as a brief writer and team captain, helping MSU Law become Regional and National Finalists for two consecutive seasons. I am licensed in both Texas and Massachusetts.

I have a unique perspective when it comes to family law based on my background in social work. Before attending law school, I worked for the Department of Children and Families as a social worker in Arizona and Massachusetts. I consistently navigated through the system’s and its affiliates’ complexities to promote permanency and enhance the families’ protective capabilities. I regularly assess, evaluate, monitor, and manage client’s services, emotions, and expectations for abused and neglected children, their parents, and their family.

Throughout my legal career, I have worked in a wide range of areas of law. However, I have found my true love for estate planning, probate, and family law. My experience and knowledge in understanding the intricacies of family law, estate planning, and probate make me extremely valuable in guiding and assisting clients in meeting their needs and achieving favorable results.

Education:
Michigan State University- J.D.
